US Gov’t Recommends Slicing Your Boys’ Penis Tips Off

CDC: “Just the tip”

ATLANTA, GA – The Centers for Disease Control recommends cutting the tip off the penis of American boys. The CDC today released draft guidelines for circumcision, and has asked for public comments in the next 45 days to finalize them.

The Muslim and Jewish tribal rite slices the tip off of nearly all American boys penises, in contrast to most of the developed world which has rejected the religious practice as unnecessary. The ritual has been handed down through the centuries, with many people seeking justification for the process which mutilates the genitals of healthy infants. Victorian era doctors, such as John Harvey Kellogg (who invented Corn Flakes) believed it would be a good way to stop boys from masturbating.

Today apologists for the tribal ritual at the CDC argue that circumcised men are less susceptible to penile cancers, urinary tract infections and STD’s. Researchers found that circumcised men in Africa had a lower rate of HIV than uncircumcised men, however as the studies themselves note, ALL men have reduced instances of STDs if they just wear condoms, cut or uncut. Also, if it were proven that female genital mutilation reduced the instances of HIV in women, would we recommend that we cut off the clitoris?

No. We’d recommend women use condoms.

So what’s the point of circumcising to avoid STDs if you can get better results by just wearing condoms? Why is it so important to cut off a sensitive part of a man’s penis? Why is this practice culturally tolerated if we do not also tolerate female genital mutilation?

Protestors against mutilating boy’s genitals have stated that, “The 14th Amendment says that the law has to be applied equally — that you cannot have a law that favors one class of people. Right now we have a (Federal) Female Genital Mutilation Law that favors women. They are protected from birth against any form of genital surgery, even just a pin-prick of blood. Under the 14th Amendment, boys should be — and actually are — entitled to that same respect of their body that girls are.”

Some circumcisions end with scar tissue on the penis, reducing sexual sensitivity. And medical accidents, while rare, involving the severing of an entire penis, do happen. The foreskin contains 75% of penile nerves, 20,000 nerve endings and averages around 15 square inches of skin. The purpose of the foreskin is to protect the genitals from chafing and drying. Why does the government want us to get cut?

Here’s why:
