Two Supposed Burglars Killed When They Exploded Themselves With Fireworks (VIDEO)

Just in time for the 2013 Darwin Awards…

NEW HAMPSHIRE – Two young men used torches to break into a safe full of commercial grade fireworks, which promptly exploded and killed them both. They supposedly thought that it was money in the safe. The owner of the safe felt sorry for the family of Lucas Bourke and Ethan Keeler, the two men who died in the blast. His business sustained substantial damage from the blast.

The safe ripped through the building, landing outside. “Any time you have pyrotechnics sealed in a container, when it burns, it creates very high pressure that burns very rapidly, and that’s what caused the explosion,” said Deputy Chief Robert Farley of the state Fire Marshal’s Office.
