Trump and Morning Joe Trade Heavy Jabs Over Twitter

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough returned fire on Monday morning after Donald Trump blasted him on Twitter, accusing the morning show host of dating his cohost Mika Brzezinsky.

Tried watching low-rated @Morning_Joe this morning, unwatchable! @morningmika is off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!

Rather than focusing his attention on winning the White House, Trump appears to be more interested in picking a fight with a reporter, going on to claim he will dish gossip on Scarborough’s alleged relationship with his coworker. Scarborough and Brzezinski are rumored to have been dating for some time now, despite the fact that Joe only recently became divorced.

Apparently Trump has never heard the old Mark Twain adage that you should never pick a fight with a person who buys ink by the barrel. Trump’s not a reality show star right now, where any publicity is good publicity. Scarborough shot back after being attacked by the GOP presidential candidate.

Scarborough had previously criticized Trump, calling for the GOP to remove him from the role as candidate.

“At long last, Donald Trump has left the Republican Party few options but to act decisively and get this political train wreck off the tracks before something terrible happens.”

Scarborough has stated before that he thinks that the Donald isn’t being serious in his run for the White House, saying he’s: “playing a role” as a “loud, screaming, racially insensitive, at times race-baiting buffoon that gets behind microphones at political rallies” because that’s not the “Donald that we’ve known for 20 years.”
