Trump Lands a Big Endorsement

Billionaire presidential candidate Donald Trump has landed an endorsement from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

There was much speculation after a photo circulated of Christie and Trump shaking hands after a debate in which the Republican Governor attacked Marco Rubio on lacking qualifications as well as his robotic repetition of talking points.

In his remarks endorsing the poll leader, Chris Christie pointed to his long standing relationship with Trump and his family as well as stating that Trump was the most capable of taking out Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton. “The best person to beat Hillary Clinton on that stage last night is undoubtedly Donald Trump,” Christie stated.

Christie also pointed to Trump’s ability to create jobs and keep his promises. “Donald Trump is someone who keeps his word and that means that America will keep its word again,” Christie said.

This endorsement could give Trump a needed boost as the Super Tuesday primaries quickly approach.
