There is a report stating that President Trump’s advisors held an intervention to encourage a suppression of Trump’s controversial use of Twitter.
They were focused on bringing an end to the unsubstantiated claims and outlandish statements being tweeted by the president. Trump was told that his tweets could “paint him into a corner” legally and politically.
Trump had promised prior to being sworn in that he would practice restraint with his use of Twitter, however that has yet to be seen.
