Don’t Facebook And Drive
PHOENIX, AZ – A fuel tanker driver was driving and looking at photos of women on Facebook when he smashed into three police cars and two fire department trucks, killing one Arizona Public Safety Officer. New video has emerged from a public records request by the Arizona Daily Star that shows the incident from the event.
Officer Tim Huffman was killed in the wreck that occurred on May 6th when Jorge Espinoza crashed into him. When questioned by authorities, Espinoza claimed that he didn’t see the cars because he was looking in his mirror and that he never used his phone while driving.
Prosecutors alleged that he was in Facebook looking at “photographs of several women in provocative positions, wearing little clothing,” “photographs of a woman in a low-cut dress,” and photos of a man “smoking something,” according to reports.
The camera on the truck dashboard captured the event.

Question: Why was that car parked in the middle of the road like that with no signal flares, lights, signs, etc simply anything to spark attention…thats just asking to get rammed by some poor bastard who is not paying attention at that moment in time.
That’s really irrelevant, when you consider that when you’re DRIVING, YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE YOUR HEAD BURIED IN FACEBOOK!
I like changing gears. I wonder if this semi was an automatic transmission?
dude the cop had his car sitting dead stop with no flares, no lights in the right lane! Even if the guy HAD been fully paying attention, what is he supposed to do? Swerve an 18 wheeler at the last minute when he sees the car??
Jesus Christ. Sure if he was on Facebook that’s not responsible, but let’s place some due blame on the cop in the middle of the road!
wow
