A 4-year-old in California has made a full transition from “Jack” to “Jackie” with his parents’ full support.
By the time Jackie was in preschool, she had decided that she wasn’t happy being a boy, and that she wanted to be called “Jackie” instead of “Jack,” and have people use the pronoun “she” when they were referring to her.
