Trader Joe’s will drop healthcare coverage to part-time workers thanks to Obamacare

Trader Joe’s offered health care care coverage to many of it’s part-time employees for years, until Obamacare came along. Now workers who log less than 30 hours a week will have to find their own insurance, according to a memo leaked from the CEO. Dan Bane said Trader Joe’s will cut part-timers a check for $500 in January to help them find a new plan under Obamacare. Full time workers will still be able to maintain their coverage.
