LENEXA, KS – A woman trying on bras at a store caught a man taking pictures of her topless in the changing room. Jeanne Ouellete noticed a hand underneath the dressing room wall videotaping her with a phone, that’s when she decided to take matters, and her breasts, into her own hands to chase down the thief.
“I followed him. I shouted, ‘Stop! Help me!’ I just screamed and chased him topless through the store,” Ouellete said. “I know I shouldn’t be chasing someone … I was just enraged. I was at a store in a very private place, and I was enraged and I wanted to get the phone.”
But when she got to the front doors, she hesitated.
“Common sense took over and said,’You shouldn’t go outside half naked,'” she said. “At that point, I just started crying because I was so upset that he was getting away. When you feel violated, what you really want is for justice to be done.”
Thankfully, other shoppers heard her naked cries for help and chased down the thief, with police catching up moments later. Jeremy Bradley was arrested just three blocks away.
KCTV reported that Bradley was charged with breach of privacy and could face up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine.
