In Formation, Beyonce sings about her background growing up in the United States, with lyrics like, “…earned all this money but they never take the country I’m in,”. While this song has been criticized for pushing ideas of protest, Beyonce is taking advantage of her right to peacefully protest against the government, something all libertarians can sympathize with.

Throughout this ballad, Beyonce sings about how happy she feels to be free of having to answer to anyone as she is being driven around in a limo with her lover. Her night wouldn’t be so enjoyable without the freedom she has because America.

Beyonce takes the time to advocate for equal protection and freedoms for both males and females and uses her musical platform to push this message of liberty.

Beyonce takes her newly single status as a good reason to go dancing at the club. Because Beyonce was born and lives in America, she doesn’t have to worry about the pressing issue of marriage and has the freedom to go dancing with her girls on a Saturday night.
