Today’s Lesson: Don’t List “Drug Dealer” Under “Occupation” on Police Reports

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – It is generally a bad idea to cut people off while driving. It is an even worse idea to cut off an undercover cop car in a stolen vehicle on your way to making a drug deal.

But that’s not the lesson I’m imparting on you, dear readers. No, today’s lesson is that after the undercover car calls in backup and arrests you with $2,316 in cash, 22 grams of heroin and 5.3 grams of crack cocaine, it is a bad idea to list “drug dealer” under “occupation” on your arrest report.

Robert Phillips, 25, did exactly that when arrested in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The police are claiming that Philips’ self-proclaimed “occupation” constitutes a confession to the crimes.
