My mom has always told me that I have common sense. It only seemed fitting to read Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” to celebrate his birthday week!
“Common Sense” was published in 1776 and it played an instrumental role in motivating the citizens of America to seek independence from Britain. If you have an interest in the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence, then you will love this pamphlet! It is so special to be able to read the words of those who fought for the freedoms that we are trying so hard to preserve in today’s world.
