This Rich Old Dude Had A Nazi Panther Tank Hidden In His Basement, BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! [PICTURES]

KIEL, GERMANY – Prosecutors are investigating a 78-year-old man after it was reported that he might be in violation of Germany’s War Weapons Control Act… for owning a Nazi Panther tank.

It took 20 hours to remove the enormous World War II era tank from the man’s cellar… which makes us wonder, just how big is that guy’s cellar?

Now you may wonder just how anyone knew that a rich old dude had a tank in his basement, but wonder no further: in a snowstorm in 1978, the man was chugging around town in it. Neighbors reported that he was very kind in helping plow snow with the Nazi tank. Alexander Orth, the mayor of the town commented: “some people like steam trains, others like tanks.”

But wait! There’s more!

Investigators were tipped off that the man also had a torpedo and an anti-aircraft gun hidden away, which sparked the entire investigation. The mayor Orth conceded, “I took this to be the eccentricity of an old man, but it looks like there’s more to it than that.”

The attorney for the man, whose name is private, claims that all the weapons are properly registered and demilitarized.
