4. The Republican Party: Not So Old and White

The Democrats may have lost a majority in the house, senate, and state governorships over President Obama’s tenure, but despite the party’s emission of failure in the electorate, they’ve also lost arguments. No longer can liberals scream “the GOP is a bunch of old, white men” as they could in ’08 and ’12. They must now actually put forth effort to discredit their opponents. As usual, they will likely fail at that, too.
