The Results Are In: TLR Readers’ Stance On Abortion Is…

LISTEN TO TLR’S LATEST PODCAST:

At the end of last month, we polled our readers for their opinions on the abortion debate, and now the results are finally in. TLR’s readership is overwhelmingly in favor of…

(drumroll, please)

… the pro-life position!

Yes, it wasn’t even close, folks. The final tally on the abortion issue is thus:

Pro-Life – 913 (71.8%)
Pro-Choice – 251 (19.7%)
Other – 108 (8.5%)

What does this mean for our readers? It means our audience is largely conservative in bent, which seems to line up more with Austin Petersen’s description of libertarianism in practice (fiscally conservative, socially don’t give a damn) than with Gary Johnson’s (fiscally conservative, socially liberal). How fitting, then, that TLR is in fact Austin Petersen’s publication. His readers, largely, think like him on this hot-button issue.

Stay tuned to The Libertarian Republic for more polls in the future!
