How Did Ted Cruz Do In 2013? (VIDEO)

TIME Magazine released a video chronicling Texas Senator Ted Cruz‘s  (R) meteoric rise to national prominence in 2013. The segment features Cruz at his most rancorous, irking Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) over gun control and rankling fellow Republicans who disapprove of his take-no-prisoners approach to governance.

The video is important in light of the recent attacks by the GOP establishment against grassroots conservatives and libertarians who have opposed the budget deal put forth by Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI). Cruz opposed the Ryan budget because it: “moves in the wrong direction,” by funding Obamacare. Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) lashed out at limited government activists who opposed the deal, claiming that they were only interested in raising money and building their lists. The budget legislation passed in the House of Representatives and will go to the Senate next week.
