ASSENS, DENMARK – A teacher in Denmark forced boys in class to strip to their underwear and threatened to cut off their penises with scissors. The act was a punishment for the boys forgetting to bring their Santa hats for a Christmas party. The Metro UK reports that parents were furious upon hearing the news.

There are also reports that the children were ordered to climb into bin bags, in front of the whole school.
Thomas Hald, the school’s deputy chairman of the board, said: ‘It is correct that it happened and that this type of humour is something that we on the board naturally do not condone.’
He went on to say that the teacher has apologised, and that matter is closed.
The parents, however, understandably feel differently, and complained to a child protection group, who urged them to contact the police.
A local police confirmed to the Mail Online that they had received a complaint and were investigating it.
Children’s advocacy group Borns Vilkar said the school’s actions did not go far enough. Spokeswoman Bente Boserup said: “Children have been violated and threatened.”
“In this kind of situation the children and their families don’t get any kind of help because all energies are used on closing the system in on itself and taking the adults into consideration instead of the children.”
