San Francisco Has Just Made Community College Tuition Free [VIDEO]

Mayor of San Francisco Ed Lee announced on Monday that community college will now be offered tuition-free through The City College of San Francisco.

The tuition will be funded by property taxes on  properties valued over $5 million. The agreement is supplementing a transfer tax  approved by voters last November that will fund $5.6 million annually for qualifying students to cover the existing $46 per credit fees.
