Senator Rand Paul appeared on John Stossel’s show on Fox Business to declare that the sequestration cuts so feared by the establishment political class “don’t go far enough.” Stossel starts off with a monologue about how the older generation is ripping off the young through entitlement programs. He mocks politicians that call the sequester a “meat cleaver” approach even though the amount of spending is not actually a cut. It’s a slight decrease in the increase in projected spending. It’s not an overall cut. Spending will increase no matter what.
