NEW YORK, NY – Actor Sean Penn appeared on Piers Morgan‘s failing CNN show to explain why the Tea Party is to blame for nearly all the issues in congress. He says, “I think they have — there’s a mental health problem in Congress,” Mr. Penn said. “This would be solved by committing them by executive order, I think. Piers asked, “You literally commit what, people like Ted Cruz?”

“He is my American brother. I think we should take care of him, he is in trouble,” Penn replied.

He goes on to say that he blames our real problems on a ‘lack of education.’

  3. This guy is step 1 on the nazi path. “Help people” will eventually become “help people into an oven”. Committing someone is an act of force. False claims of mental issues is a violent marginalizing. It is dehumanizing and when humans are made…not human then it is easy to make them not alive. These people will kill over their ideals just as easily as anyone else will.

  16. Here’s how damn stupid Penn is; thanks to left wingers back in the 70’s or 80’s, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get someone committed to a mental institution against their will. And not one GROUP of left wingers could make the case against Sen. Cruz. It would be much easier to have Penn committed.

  23. An ex-friend of mine actually got a mutual friend of ours put in the psych wing of the VA hospital for 3 days very easily. She just called his doc and told him the goofy junk our friend was posting on facebook and they called him to come in and they stuck him in lockdown.
