Fox News host Sean Hannity beat out well-established CNN and MSNBC late night talk shows in his first night Monday at the 9 p.m. slot.
Hannity garnered a higher number of overall viewers and outperformed Rachel Maddow and Anderson Cooper in his demo during his Sept. 25 night segment of “Hannity,” which marked the first night in his new time change.
Hannity had 3,270,000 overall viewers Monday night, while Rachel Maddow, the host of “The Rachel Maddow Show” on MSNBC had 2,662,000 and Anderson Cooper of CNN’s “Anderson Copper 360°” raked in 1,448,000 overall viewers.

Hannity also beat these two hosts in the news demo for adults aged 25-54: Hannity got 666,000, Maddow received 591,000 and Cooper got 470,000.
Hannity made the switch to the 9 p.m slot after Fox News announced that Laura Ingraham, a radio talk show host, would be hosting “The Ingraham Angle” at 10 p.m. Hannity plans to have former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, who was forced from the network after a slew of sexual harassment allegations, on as a guest Tuesday night.
