Scenes of mortar strikes, intense tracer action, landmines and foot patrols give an up close view of what the battle was like for the men and women who worked to secure victory during the conflict. The Japanese finally surrendered on September 2nd, 1945 and then only after the use of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Only after listening to Rothbard’s Anatomy of the state on Mises.org do I look at these scenes as the sick inevitable events of nationalism.
