Up-and-coming rapper, Molly Brazy, has placed herself under the lense of the law after she posts a video on Facebook Live which shows her pointing a gun at a toddler’s head.
Brazy, an 18-year-old artist from Detroit, was filming as she chatted with the youngster. In the video, she appears to lose her temper which leads her to point the firearm at the head of the toddler, reports The Mirror UK.
The Mirror UK described the situation as follows:
At first, it looks as though the Molly and the young girl are having a chat.
But about 15 seconds into the video the toddler throws what appears to be a toy gun at Brazy.
She then snaps, “Why would you do that?” before picking up the gun herself and pointing it at the youngster.
She then adds, appearing to realise that what she has done will look bad on the social media site: “You better stop playing, you better not, you’re gonna get me in trouble.”
Now Detroit Police are looking into the video to ascertain whether the gun was real, reports The Mirror UK.
Sgt. Michael Woody told Fox 2 Detroit : “It’s very concerning to see anybody point a weapon at a small child.
“We’ve seen so much infant mortality in this city in the past year. Messing around with guns like that is not a smart thing to do. It’s very irresponsible and reckless.”
The manager for Brazy, who refused to give their name according to The Mirror UK, insisted the gun was a plastic toy.
Brazy’s social media does appear to show her brandishing and holding many different firearms.
It was just last year, in an interview with Say Cheese TV she told a reporter she didn’t ‘give a f**k’ that she might be seen as a bad role mode and she claims all four of her older brothers are in jail, The Mirror UK.
