President Barack Obama’s Website Was Just Hacked by Syrian Electronic Army

President’s Fundraising Site Compromised

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A page on President Barack Obama’s website was just hacked by an organization calling themselves “SEA”. The page is from his donation site donate.barackobama.com, which temporarily redirected to the website of the hacking group “Syrian Electronic Army”.

The SEA is a collection of computer hackers aligned with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. They conduct denial of service attacks, such as the one currently underway against the President of the United States. The exact relationship of SEA to Assad is unknown at this time.

The SEA once defaced the New York Post’s Facebook page and published pictures of American servicemen saying they opposed a U.S. attack on Syria. They increased their activity when there was a threat that the President might attack Assad.

Saudi Arabia has recently threatened the U.S. over our failure to bomb Syria and crush protesters in Bahrain.

should have made it a link to some videos of Syrian rebels killing Christians. So, support for a possible war would be even lower than it is now.

We need more laws to prevent this sort of transgression from happening again.

Jamie Colliss October 28, 2013 at 3:37 am

yes because only Americans are allowed to hack other countries!

Stormtrooper595 October 28, 2013 at 3:45 am

Your Telling me. We always think we have the right to do everything. Hell, We’re spying on other presidents/chancellors who are in the UN and are our ALLIES! Im surprised the UN doesn’t throw sanctions on us! (Even though it wouldn’t do crap)

Are you saying this Syrian group gets a free pass to violate the property rights of others?

Are they anything like “The Electric Light Orchestra”?

This amuses me. Now he knows what it’s when he track us.

More troubling: Why does a president who is serving his second term have a fundraising site?

Mario Lawrence October 28, 2013 at 3:35 pm

Good question.

KeMuSaBi October 28, 2013 at 4:30 am

Does anyone believe this? Yea… it’s Syria’s fault you’re not getting your free healthcare. It’s also their fault the premium rates doubled. I think they caused global warming too? Did they not kill Santa? I think they shot the Easter bunny as well… I haven’t seen the Keebler elves in awhile………

Thomas William Dees October 28, 2013 at 5:07 am

Not healthcare.gov. This story is about his fundraising website.

StephenWV November 1, 2013 at 3:56 am

Not that that has anything to do with Ben Plank’s comment. Unless, of course, if you just cannot comprehend that.

Thomas William Dees November 1, 2013 at 2:35 pm

lol you are such a troll. Go back to your cave. To be fair to me, not that you can comprehend anything other than insults, this is my first time on disqus and I am having trouble seeing the differences in threads. Ben Plank eluded to the healthcare site, while it is a train wreck, this article is not talking about it. Can you comprehend that?

StephenWV November 1, 2013 at 11:43 pm

Thanks for confirming that you are not capable of understanding it. He is obviously (to some) making a comparison that he believes they are ridiculously blaming Syria for this spying and he facetiously said they would also likely blame Syria for killing Santa (this is not about Santa either), or they would likely blame Syria for shooting the Easter Bunny, for causing global warming, (the article is not about the Easter Bunny or global warming either), and just like all these facetious examples, he says, facetiously, they would also likely blame Syria for problems with Obamacare.

Some people are just so thick and make dumb comments.

StephenWV October 28, 2013 at 11:14 am

If SEA did not do it, are you suggesting the conservatives did? It’s Bush’s fault? Typical liberal deception.

KeMuSaBi November 1, 2013 at 12:27 am

So you believe there is a fundamental difference between the Republicans and Democrats? It takes both parties to vote our rights away, which they have time and time again. All I’m getting at is I don’t believe the Syrian Electric Army hacked obomba’s site. I could be wrong but I don’t believe it.

StephenWV November 1, 2013 at 3:53 am

Which Republicans? The RINOS or the Teapublicans?

Jay Ciaravino October 28, 2013 at 3:54 pm

This article has nothing to do with the healthcare website. Did you read the article?

trooper4wdrive October 28, 2013 at 5:31 pm

No, but I bet it’s a deterrent to make the mess that Obamacare is experiencing, seem like bad security problems in websites are normal.

Jay Ciaravino October 28, 2013 at 9:07 pm

I could buy that.

KeMuSaBi November 1, 2013 at 12:22 am

The government is always looking for something to blame stuff on. They already want to destroy Syria and are, through arming and funding al Qaeda….

KeMuSaBi November 1, 2013 at 12:21 am

I was saying that I don’t believe this article. It has nothing to do with healthcare, easter bunnies, santa, or Keebler elves. The jury is still out on global warming though lol.

Greg Mitchell October 28, 2013 at 5:45 pm

HEATHCARE.GOV MAYBE THE DAMNED SYRIANS ARE HOLDING IT FOR RANSOM!!!

KeMuSaBi November 1, 2013 at 12:21 am

LOL oh dear
