SAN DIEGO, CA – When nearly a dozen heavily armed and armored cops showed up at the Cheetahs strip club in San Diego, the manager’s first reaction was to suspect that there were violent fugitives on the loose.

That was not the case.

The police were there to make sure that the club’s 30 dancers had the correct paperwork and were in compliance with local codes.

Then things got creepy.

The police insisted on taking pictures of the nearly-nude dancers.  According to dancer Katelynn Delorie, “They made me feel like I was a gang member, pretty much, and they wanted to document every single one of my tattoos.”

The manager Rich Buonantony, said that his dancers felt violated by the intrusion, which interrupted business for several hours.

According to San Diego police spokesman Lt. Kevin Mayer, “Photographs of the entertainer’s permit and the person in possession of it are taken for investigative purposes.”

Sure they are.
