Police Claim City Councilwoman Is Stopping Them From Investigating Her Drug Dealing, Girlfriend Abusing Son

Local Corrupt Official Terrorizing Police, Interfering With Justice

WELLSTON, MO – Police in Wellston, Missouri claim that they are unable to investigate a drug dealer and domestic abuser because his mother, a city councilwoman, is protecting him. One police officer has been fired multiple times for investigating Terrence Dixon for selling crack, meth, and beating his girlfriend. Now the authorities are afraid of going after her, and only a local news agency has the guts to investigate this corrupt public official.

The trouble began two years ago, when Dixon was arrested for selling drugs out of his home, where young children reside. Officer Dan Donohue secured a confession from the man that he was selling crack and meth. The officers involved in the arrest were fired, and the Wellston Police Chief, GT Wells, believes it is because he is the son of city councilwoman Janet Dixon. The local city council has the ability to fire police officers, and it appears that Janet Dixon is abusing that power to protect her criminal son.

The firings have since been reversed, but for Officer Donohue, who was again fired after he investigated a woman being beaten with belt buckles. A neighbor reported that she was seen trying to crawl out a window, but was pulled back in by someone. The suspect in that case? Terrence Dixon.

Where’s the DOJ, Eric Holder, and his civil rights lawsuits when you actually need him?

Councilwoman Dixon reportedly took it a step further after firing Officer Donahue for doing his job, claiming that he said to her that he’ll “kill my black ass.” Cell phone records show that Donahue was nowhere near Dixon when she claims that he made those threats. The local news agency asked if she had lied to the Judge about that statement, which she refused to answer.

Janet Dixon is still currently a sitting city councilwoman, with the power to fire police officers and prosecutors are refusing to bring a case against her.

The Libertarian Republic reached out to the Wellston Police Department, as well as Councilwoman Dixon, but neither could be reached for comment.
