One Shocking Stat Shows How Big Government is Hurting Americans

The American Tax Foundation.org revealed that Americans will be spending more on taxes in 2015 than they will on food, clothing, and housing combined.

A total of $3.3 trillion in taxes will be collected by the federal government and an additional $1.5 trillion will be taken by your state and local government. In total, Americans will be stripped of $4.8 trillion, which according to the American Tax Foundation, comprises about 31 percent of the nation’s total income.

This, in defense of having the government take care of all the services they claim to provide at a cost to the individual. However, as taxes continue to skyrocket and the national debt clock keeps ticking, the government shows no signs of slowing down.
