Obama says America is ‘my government’ and makes no apologies for Bergdahl swap

If you needed more proof that Obama has gone rogue, a recent interview with NBC’s Brian Williams has left little doubt that executive overreach has reached its apex.

Obama stated during the interview that “my principles in my government” acted ‘unanimously” in the decision to trade five Taliban commanders for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

“I make no apologies for it,” he asserted, repeatedly using the phrase “no soldier left behind” as a shield for the terrible deal (which the majority of Congress rejected in 2012). You remember Congress, right Mr. President? They’re supposed to be our elected voice in the government? The unelected “principles” Obama referenced have the president’s ear likely because they tell him what he wants to hear. In any case, it’s now obvious that “we the people” has become “Obama and his government.”
