New York Man Arrested After Firing Civil War Cannon At Neighbor’s Houses (VIDEO)

 

KIANTONE, N.Y.  — A western New York man was charged with harassment after repeatedly firing an unloaded Civil War cannon at his neighbor’s homes. [contextly_sidebar id=”8156d1fd2130864526903195c06e375a”]

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says Brian Malta fired the cannon at neighboring homes after becoming involved in a dispute with them. Authorities stated that the cannon was only fired with powder charge and wadding, but no cannon balls.

The man was arrested and charged with three counts of harassment and three of menacing. He was released after posting $2,500 bail. There is no information available at this time on just why the man may have been so angry and decided to take the drastic measures.
