MMA Fighter Tracks Down His Own Thieves

OMAHA, NE – Eight time UFC veteran Ryan Jensen had the opportunity to initiate the beatdown of his lifetime, but this time he stayed his hand. Jensen caught the two thieves who robbed his truck on his own, tracking them down and cornering them at a local Wal-Mart.

Jensen’s a professional fighter, and owner of the Premier Combat Center. One night he was at his gym when he walked out the door and realized that his trunk was open and his belongings had been ransacked. Luckily, surveillance video showed the suspects to be one male and one female in a vehicle that police identified as stolen.

Jensen then pulled up his bank account, showing where the thieves had made transactions with his credit card, a local Wal-Mart, where Jensen pursued them personally… and with a vengeance.

The UFC fighter then tracked the couple to the local store, finding them nearly immediately. “We ended up finding them and the guy was sitting in the front seat. I ended up coming in and blocking the car in. Once I blocked the car in, I got out of the car, knocked on the window and was like, ‘Hey, you’ve got all my stuff. Cops are on their way. You’re not going anywhere.'”

The male fled into the store, with Jensen in pursuit. “I was tailing him and kind of yelling, “Thieves! This guy stole all my stuff! Where’s the security? Where’s the police?”

The police were right behind him. They eventually caught up to the man, and secured him without a fight. “I mean, it was on the ground, put them down, handcuffed them, they did everything – crime lab came out.”

Luckily for the two thieves who were both caught, Jensen didn’t have to pull any moves on them. “I definitely could have reacted way differently in that situation, especially with my background.”
