Billionaire Mark Cuban says President Donald Trump is a form of “chemotherapy” for a cancerous political system, reports the Washington Times (WT).

CNN’s “New Day” invited the co-host of “Shark Tank” and owner of an NBA team on to discuss the President’s first 100 days in office. Mr. Cuban, a former Hillary Clinton supporter, said the president probably deserves a C- for a grade, but his administration still serves an important function, explained WT.

“I call it political chemotherapy,” Mr. Cuban told co-hosts Chris Cuomo and Alisyn Camerota. “One of my friends who I always thought was very smart said, ‘Mark, I voted for politicians my entire life.’ He’s in his 50s. ‘Do you know what the definition of insanity is? Doing the same thing over and over, expecting the same results. So I voted for Donald Trump. Is he poisonous in a lot of respects? Yeah. He’s our chemotherapy. We hope he’s going to change the political system.’ And if that’s the way you’re evaluating Donald Trump, he’s doing a phenomenal job.”

Cuban said Mr. Trump doesn’t master issues, prompting Mr. Cuomo to say the president “must know how to do something well. Look where he is.”

“He campaigned well,” Mr. Cuban said. “He gave the people what they wanted. He was an entertainer. He was a showman. He never tried to convey that he was an intellect about any topic at all.”
