Manhunt for Shooter in Ohio, At Least 7 Dead, Mostly Children, 3 Different Locations

Details are still sketchy about a series of shooting that have reportedly taken place in Ohio.

Fox News reports:

One of the other kids was 6 months old, a Pike County victims’ advocate told the Chillicothe Gazette, saying many extended family members in the area were frightened for their safety.

Fox 28 in Columbus reported a total of three crime scenes including a home east of Peebles.

The family members who died had attended nearby Union Hill Church for years, according to Pastor Phil Fulton. “They kind of dropped by the wayside probably three, four years ago, maybe… The kids seemed friendly, always you know, just good kids, seemed like,” the pastor told WKRC.

Ohio’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation sent more than a dozen agents to investigate, officials told Fox 28.

A spokeswoman for Ohio’s attorney general Mike DeWine said nobody had been arrested as of Friday morning.

“Reports we are receiving from Peebles are tragic beyond comprehension,” Ohio Gov. John Kasich responded.

Police are searching for a shooter after seven people were found dead at three different scenes in Ohio Friday.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation said “we are sending everybody” to an area near Pikeston, where seven have been found dead at three different scenes, WLWT reports. Police aren’t sure what happened and are still searching for a shooter. Authorities are still investigating and releasing details.

The Ohio Bureau sent agents to a home and has launched a massive effort to find the shooter, Fox 19 reports.
