Man Takes ‘Blood Oath,’ Stabs Black Man Over Black Lives Matter

Police say recent Black Lives Matter demonstrations may have caused a white man to attack a black man in Washington state Tuesday night.

The man stabbed his victim outside a bar in downtown Olympia, reports NWCN. The victim was able to stop his attacker from fleeing, and witnesses helped until police arrived.

Police identified the attacker as Daniel Rowe. According to court documents, Rowe had various tattoos, like “Skinhead,” “White Power,” and a Confederate flag that formed around the word “Hooligan.”

He told the police that he was a member of a white supremacy group and had traveled to Olympia after hearing reports of anti-police graffiti allegedly from the Black Lives Matter movement.

Earlier this week, anti-police messages were scrawled on various buildings in downtown Olympia. “Kill cops” was seen on some of the buildings. The people who did it wore dark clothing and had masks covering their faces.

Police have not directly linked the Black Lives Matter movement to the anti-police graffiti.

According to court documents, Rowe told police that he “took a blood oath to fight on the street, and if he was let go tonight, he planned on heading down to the next Donald Trump rally and stomping out more of the Black Lives Matter group.”

Officers said that Rowe claimed he, “had our backs,” and that the protesters, “hate white people and cops.”

Rowe has also been accused of cutting the victim’s girlfriend. The police said that neither of the victims had life-threatening injuries.
