Man Sues Dept Of Ed For Teaching Evolution To Veterinary Studies Daughter

WEST VIRGINIA – Kenneth Smith has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Education on behalf of his daughter, who is a veterinary studies major. Smith’s suit claims that the teaching of evolution is hampering his daughter’s dream to become a veterinarian.

Smith’s argument is that the education department is violating the constitution and infringing on his daughter’s civil rights by “propagating” the “religion” of evolution.

“Their actions during the 2014-2015 school year affects my child’s future directly through the state grading system to enter college and the ability to earn economic security and a good job in her chosen veterinarian medical field of work, by being taught a faith base (evolutionary ideology) that just doesn’t exist and has no math to back it,” the lawsuit said.

“While denying the Plaintiff’s accurate scientific mathematical system of genetic variations that proves evolution is a religion, it will benefit our government economically and efficiently increase our judicial and law enforcement departments in many ways,” the lawsuit also said.

The suit demands a trial by jury and requests that a federal judge declare the teaching of evolution as a violation of the Constitution of the United States.
