Monkey See, Monkey Gone
DENVER, CO – Police are searching for a man who pepper sprayed a woman and robbed her of her monkey on Monday. A Missouri woman was traveling with her Capuchin monkey to sell the pet when the man who arrived to buy it violently attacked and robbed her instead.
Private monkey ownership is legal in Missouri, but not in Colorado. The man was described as Middle Eastern and in his late 30’s with a thin build and short beard.
