“We demand equal rights!” “Don’t punch me I’m a girl!”
CORNWALL, U.K. – A 29-year-old man was arrested and accused of assault after an incident where he was violently punched and defended himself in return. The footage was viewed millions of times, and showed a blond girl trying to kick the man in the groin. Then she tries to punch him and he reacts by striking her, sending her through a glass pane.
A brawl ensued and sparked an enormous controversy, which The Libertarian Republic has waded into generally here:

Police told The Telegraph that the blonde girl seen in the clip was not arrested.

In related news, a video recently emerged from Iraq which depicts a woman who goaded her fellow soldiers into setting up a boxing match with her. The video describes that the female soldier was bragging that she could “whoop” any infantry Marine on the Forward Operating Base. The video appears to show the opposite however.
This seems relevant in light of the recent decisions made to put women into combat situations. Does this video do anything to change your mind? Are women just as capable of front line fighting? Leave your comments below.

I have no pity for her silly ass. Why would you agree to do this? I’m not doubting that a woman in a life or death situation could possible prevail against a man, but in a contest like this she has NO chance unless the guy is a weak fool and she was a well trained boxer and a physical specimen. This chic was neither. She was fat and showed no boxing skill. I’m glad she didn’t get seriously hurt.
These videos only reinforce my beliefs that women have no place in direct combat next to or against men. This woman’s mistaken belief that she had a chance in showing this man a thing or two caused her embarrassment and hopefully more important lessons-men are stronger than women. And Marines are better trained than soldiers.
My dad always taught me, be prepared to get hit if you decide to hit someone. The gal should have learned that lesson long ago & not decided to hit someone if she is unwilling to get hit back. And really, in today’s world it can escalate beyond fists quickly – so it’s even more stupid for a girl or anyone else to throw the first blow.

Man, don’t you see, it’s “Violence against Women”! According to countless UN and EU directives, this is gender-based violence, of structural nature, intended to exercise coercion and control over women, who had been oppressed for 1000s of years. And how can you possibly disagree that gender is but a social construct? It is only because women have been oppressed that they are weak. Give them enough protection, quotas, assistance programs, and they will prove to you: “Anything a man can do, a woman can do too. And better!”
I am withholding comment until I see what started the UK issue. Obviously there was already an altercation. (as far as he being arrested) Maybe he punched at the guy and then the girl intervened?
