Sharing a last name in a homogeneous area, such as central Pennsylvania, usually does not affect a business. That is, unless you share the same last name and a similar trade as your disappointing governor who is known for raising taxes and has a 36% approval rate.
In a new TV ad, Wolf Furniture Co., based in Blair County, Pennsylvania, is distancing themselves from the most liberal governor in the United States, Governor Tom Wolf .
Wolf Furniture sells furniture, while the Wolf Organization, formerly owned by Tom Wolf, sell and distribute kitchen cabinets. But the Blair County company wants it’s clients to know that they are in no way affiliated with the governor.
Wolf Furniture has received frequent questions and comments about the perceived relationship to Governor Wolf. They have even received messages on Facebook to boycott the company after the eight month PA state budget impasse and after proposed tax increases, according to PennLive.
Wolf Furniture is now running ads to clear the air.
