The Libertarian Republic Is Hiring Paid Interns!

Have you ever said to yourself you’d like to have a chance to learn valuable skills while advancing libertarian ideals? 

The Libertarian Republic is hiring paid interns to work full-time for our online news magazine. 

Responsibilities will mainly be social media related, however the intern will also have the opportunity to research and write stories, book guests for our popular podcast, and learn video and photo production skills. The job will involve long hours as well a dedication to excellence and journalistic integrity. You may be involved in the production of documentaries as well.

Working at The Libertarian Republic will put you in a highly visible position as we are read by millions monthly. This isn’t about getting coffee or running errands, it’s about doing real journalism and education. We are focused on spreading the message of economic freedom and personal liberty in a manner consistent with our principles of free market capitalism.

Ideal candidates will have skills in any of the following mediums: Photoshop, Photography, WordPress, Social Media, Journalism, Audio Production (Podcasting), and Video Production.

Start and end dates are flexible but preference may be given to candidates who can start as soon as possible. We’re in need of help right away! Our office is located just outside Washington D.C. in Alexandria, Virginia.

Austin Petersen is a homegrown Missourian with a lifelong passion for liberty. He grew up on a horse farm in Peculiar, Missouri and went on to attend Missouri State University, graduating with a degree in the Fine Arts. He is the founder of The Libertarian Republic, a powerful online news source for the public that receives an average of 1 million unique visits monthly and whose podcast, The Freedom Report, receives an average of one million monthly downloads. He is also a frequent contributor on television, appearing on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC and on dozens of local radio shows.
