Leaked: Police Sadistically Taser Non-Violent Inmates [VIDEO]

[contextly_auto_sidebar id=”Uq7WXtwo5NHuigZ7FlBTVSJlW6BC8EkV”] MAMOU, LA – Someone anonymously sent video to a local news station which shows officers in Mamou, Louisiana viciously tasering non violent prisoners.

News Ten received a DVD with a note that read:

 “To whom it may concern:

        You will find Police Chief candidate Robert McGee continually tasing multiple inmates in cells at the Mamou Police Department. There is also footage of deceased officer, Joe Deshotel, tasing an inmate in a cell. These files came from the video surveillance at the MPD.”

The note is signed by a “disgusted and concerned citizen.”

The videos are from July of 2010 to October of 2010 and show officers approaching inmates and tasing them, even though they are providing no resistance.

 Current Chief of Police, Greg Dupuis said he was made aware of the video over the weekend. Dupuis said an investigator contacted him, and he promptly contacted the district attorney.

    “He advised me that according to the dates, the statue of limitations has run out and we couldn’t file charges. One of the people in the video is deceased and hasn’t worked for me in over three years. The other, hasn’t worked for me in over one year,” Dupuis said via a phone interview.

Dupuis said he is currently investigating how the video was released to the public, after a request was made from the mayor and city council.

Joe Deshotel* passed away recently due to an aneurysm. McGee called the release of the video in wake of Deshotel’s death, heartless.
