A gunman identified as Stephen Paddock, 62, killed 50 people and injured at least 200 others at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival in Las Vegas.
Authorities say Paddock was found on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay where he was found dead.
This passes the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting at the deadliest mass shooting event in modern United States history.
Authorities are still searching for an Asian woman identified as Paddock’s roommate and alleged associate. Her name is Marilou Danley, 62, who stands at 4 feet 11 inches.
Police are also searching for a 2017 Hyundai Tuscon with the license plate NV 114B40.
Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman tweeted, “Pray for Las Vegas. Thank you to all our first responders out there now.”
