Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Makes Shortlist for Trump’s Solicitor General

by Micah J. Fleck

Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway’s husband George, who is himself a corporate lawyer based out of New York, is being considered for the position of solicitor general under Donald Trump.

According to New York Daily News:

George Conway, a longtime corporate New York lawyer and the husband of Kellyanne Conway, is on a shortlist of candidates considered by Donald Trump to become the next U.S. solicitor general, two transition team sources confirmed Friday.

The potential pick was first reported by Bloomberg News.

If confirmed, Conway — who is of Filipino descent — would become the first Asian-American to ever hold the high-ranking judicial post.

More evidence that Trump is not a racist, but rather a nationalist and paranoid xenophobe instead.
