One Marijuana Joint Results in High Speed Chase
Stravansky Nycassio Hinds, 36, is behind bars after leading Michigan State and Shelby Township Police on an extensive chase. His reasons for dragging the pursuit on for so long? According to what he told the cops, all he wanted to do is finish a joint.
“He wanted to make phone calls to his family, he wanted to finish his marijuana joint before he went to jail,” said State Police Lt. Michael Shaw.
“We did find marijuana, some liquor and different things,” added Shaw. “Part of it is kind of humorous.”
When police searched the vehicle, they found marijuana and liquor.
In addition to charges of fleeing police and impaired driving, Hinds has six other warrants out for his arrest in Michigan and additional warrants in Florida.
