John McAfee: Clinton and Trump Unqualified to be President

“I think that Trump is an angry man who has garnered support from angry people,” John McAfee said in a recent interview with Business Insider. “An angry government, an angry entity cannot create anything that is not imbued with anger. Think about it. We have enough anger in this world, we have enough hostility.”

The Libertarian Party presidential candidate and cybersecurity guru slammed both of the major party front runners as they came off victories in the New York primaries on Tuesday. Ted Cruz has been nearly mathematically eliminated from being able to win 1237 delegates and is relying on a contested convention, while Bernie Sanders needs at least 59% of remaining primary delegates to remain competitive.

McAfee blamed people “lusting for power” for the situation the United States is in today.

“And if you’re lusting for power you have enemies and those enemies are people who are lusting for that same power. That creates animosity and anger and hostility and eventually warfare. I can’t see it in any way how that could be good for America.”

He then slammed Hillary Clinton, saying that she wasn’t a better choice because she doesn’t understand “the gravest threat” facing the United States.

“Anybody who wins who doesn’t understand the gravest threat facing this country today is ill-prepared to help this country, period. And I don’t think she’s anymore prepared to do that than Trump.”

He also criticized her use of a private email server, saying that she opened up her “secure server” to everyone, jeopardizing national security. McAfee finished by saying that there is a difference between what a politician says and what a politician does.

“You know our history is filled with millions of examples, you know. ‘I’m going to shut down Guantanamo’, that was Obama’s promise, hasn’t happened yet, and it’s been nine or seven years. So it’s not what she says, I think it’s her history and her embeddness in the political structure.”
