Jet Pilot Attaches GoPro to his MIG-31 (VIDEO)

SOMEWHERE IN RUSSIA – Russian jet pilot Arthur Sarkissian attached a GoPro camera to his MIG-31 ‘Foxhound’ and captured some beautiful footage of the machine in action. The video shows two MIG-31’s circling each other and dancing through the clouds effortlessly. The pilot created a specially designed mount in order to deal with the incredible rates of speed that the jets can attain.

Sarkissian served in the Russian Air Force as a military pilot in Kharkov back in 1978. After his discharge from the armed forces, he became an air operator with a focus on shooting, working with the famous aerobatic team, “The Russian Knights.” You can see more photos of the camera box construction here.
