Illegals Stealing Children In Order To Pose As Families

By Jonah Bennett

The Obama administration admitted Tuesday that illegals are kidnapping children in order to pass themselves off as family units and take advantage of incredibly soft immigration rules.

“When people now know that when I come as a family unit, I won’t be apprehended and detained — we now have people being abducted so that they can be deemed as family units, so that they can avoid detention,” Leon Fresco, a deputy assistant attorney general, said to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, according to The Washington Times.

Fresco didn’t provide any evidence to support his statement, a weakness the lawyer in support of illegals, Peter Schey, quickly jumped on.

“We know zero instances of that, and there’s zero support for that anywhere in the record,” Schey said. “If they know of any such instances, I would think they would bring the actual instances to the attention of the court.”

To abuse loopholes in the Obama administration’s immigration rules, many illegals are now coming over the border as family units, with fiscal year 2016 promising to hold the largest surge. Even the administration is not quite sure how to handle the influx of families and has opened several new facilities specifically for holding them. The idea is to then quickly deport the illegals back to their countries of origin.

Illegals may have picked up the idea of kidnapping from cartels. The rate at which migrants were kidnapped by cartels jumped by 800 percent between 2012 and 2014. Cartels have gone after migrants traveling to the U.S. and held them ransom, sending a message to their families back in Central and South America that if they don’t pay up, sometimes as much as $5,000, they may never see their family members again. This time around, illegals are apparently snatching up kids, in order to cross the border.
