How To Manage Your Time Effectively? 

  1. Begin With Easy To-Do Tasks

The idea behind these tips is so that you can complete easy tasks quicker. Furthermore, since you will be tackling the easy tasks first, you will be able to get them out of the way, which only means that you get more time and attention to bigger projects. You will not have to worry about the smaller tasks the moment you complete bigger projects. 

The bottom line is organization. What does this mean? Well, take your time and organize your tasks from the easiest to the biggest. For example, assuming that you have 20 tasks that you must complete within a day if you can eliminate 5 of the easy tasks quickly, you will be motivated to complete the rest of the tasks. Remember, having a lot of tasks to complete can be intimidating. As such, try to avoid the stress by tackling the easiest tasks first

  1. Break The Bigger Tasks Into Small Tasks 

When dealing with larger tasks, you may get overwhelmed by the idea of the task and wonder where to begin. To avoid all this, break the project into smaller tasks that you can do without much stress. This will eliminate the idea of wondering where to begin without stress. You can also combine similar tasks. For example, if within your task you have to work with a client or write blogs on the same topic, you should combine them and count them as one. 

  1. Create Your To-Do List For The Next Day, Today 

Before heading home or completing your day, you should consider creating your to-do list for tomorrow. In fact, it should be the last thing to do every day. This will give you the power to know your schedule the next day. in other words, when you head to work, you will already know what you are supposed to do. Planning the next day is a task that does not take a lot of time to accomplish. This is a step or method for setting yourself for success. 

  1. Track Everything Using A Calendar 

Today we have access to calendars and time tracking, thanks to all the portable devices available. The movers and shakers of the world use calendars to organize and track everything see here. For example, assuming that a specific project is supposed to be completed within 2 months and with that you will have to call someone for an update, marking it down on the calendar and sending them an email is a sure way to stay ahead. For this reason, it is wise to mark everything and every event to maintain efficiency. 

  1. Avoid Distractions As Much As Possible 

Today we live in an era where there are so many distractions that can get you off-track. Few examples of distractions include; getting an informal call (from friends), instant messages and social media notifications, co-worker bothering you while you are busy, accessing social media, etc. to be effective, efficient, and manage time well, you have to ignore all distraction as much as possible. Stay focused and try to complete your to-do list.

An effective way to do this is allocating ½ or 1 hour for all distractions and nothing else. After this, block off all distractions and focus on your work. This simple method or tip is designed to help you manage your time well. Do not think that you can multitask, especially when it comes to distractions.
