Hillary Clinton Lives Life of Opulence; Rand Paul Frugal by Comparison

Who Would be the More Responsible President?

A new report from Time has gathered the real estate information of all the potential presidential candidates for 2016 and conveniently placed them all in one place for us to mull over.  Don’t mind if I do.

According to the data that Time gathered (which they in fact credit Zillow for), Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton lives a life of ostentatious opulence – complete with two massive homes, one in DC and another in NY, which cost $5.6 million and $4.2 million, respectively.  By contrast, the person many people wish to see emerge as Hillary’s Republican challenger, Rand Paul, lives much more modestly with only one home valued at just shy of $650k

Now, one might sincerely and understandably argue this difference is only due to the fact that Paul is such a new politician yet to completely invest his earnings for as long as good ol’ Hillary, but this position is found wanting the very moment one takes into account the fact that Rand has a history of behaving very frugally with funds during the short time he has been serving.

The man is simply walking the walk when it comes to his fiscally conservative platform.  Contrast that with Hillary, who continues to advocate for more and more government spending as the answer to virtually every problem, no matter what the cost.  Is it any wonder, then, that her personal spending habits reflect exactly what her public promulgations exude?

Yet, the typical American voter right now is still arguably more familiar with and fond of Hillary than of Rand.  Let us continue to change that – and hopefully ultimately lighten the burden on our country’s collective pocketbook in the process.
