Here’s An 8th Grade Exam From 1912 That Will Help You Understand Why Everyone Is Now Dumber

By: Laura Meyers

We found a copy of an eighth grade-level exam for Bullitt County Schools, Kentucky from 1912.

It was donated to the Bullitt County historical museum in 2013, and continues to makes modern eighth graders look like drooling, brainwashed imbeciles with smartphones.

Here are some of the best questions:

Define the following terms of government: Democracy, Limited Monarchy, Absolute Monarchy, Republic. Give Examples of Each.

What is a copyright? A Patent right?

Where is the chief nervous system of the body?

To what four governments are students in school subjected?

Are you smarter than a 1912 eighth grader?
