Fundraiser for John McCain Busted for Meth Lab, LSD, Heroin, Cocaine, and Counterfeit Money

The woman who was the RSVP contact for Senator John McCain’s reelection fundraisers has been busted for running an operational meth lab after a package containing 250 hits of Ecstasy was delivered to her house and signed for by her boyfriend.

Authorities in Maricopa County, Arizona, served a search warrant at the home following the delivery of the package, a delivery they had been tracking. During the search of the house they found a working meth lab, LSD, cocaine, heroin, Ecstasy, marijuana, hash oil, and about $7,000 in cash along with some counterfeit money. It seems fundraising doesn’t pay as well as one would think; either that or it pays VERY well.

For their part, the McCain campaign dropped the woman, Emily Pitha, right after the news was announced. “We commend the hard work and dedication of our law enforcement officers in their fight to keep our community safe from illegal drugs and associated criminal activity,” McCain’s campaign manager, Ryan O’Daniel, said in a statement. “The campaign immediately terminated any relationship with Ms. Pitha upon learning of her alleged involvement in the operation.”

Ms. Pitha and her boyfriend are currently being held on $20,000 cash bonds on various narcotics and possession charges. The couple also has 2 young children, so they will likely face endangerment charges as well.
