Happy Sunday, Liberty Lovers!
On my reading journey of the liberty classics, I couldn’t pass up my man Murray N. Rothbard! He was known as “Mr. Libertarian.” Wouldn’t that be fun to have a yearly Mr. Libertarian competition just like Miss America?
I chose “For a New Liberty” in particular because it is THE Libertarian Manifesto. The book may seem thick, but Rothbard’s writing style is really easy to comprehend, and the information he presented was so interesting and original that it kept my attention 99.9% of the time.
If you want to truly understand the ins and outs of libertarianism and get a peek into the mind of an anarcho-capitalist, then this book is definitely worth reading! By the time you’re done, you’ll be ready to privatize all the things, even the roads!
